Comedy is unbelievably difficult to do.

Even "stupid comedy" ala Scary Movie isn't easy to write or film.

Sidney Pollak said comedy is the hardest genre because the bullseye is so small, if you're off by a tenth of a second you may miss completely, whereas with drama you can miss by four or five seconds and still hit your target.

I've always found it interesting that the genre with the highest degree of difficulty is the least respected.

This article focuses on the dot com companies, not the content creators. People like the Ask A Ninja team are making income off their work-not by the downloads but through ads and merchandising.
