Just started working on a New Girl spec. Had to take a break for a few days to let some story ideas simmer - basically, I was stuck weaving the a-b-c story together and was getting discouraged.

Then I read both of those articles. And it's nice to learn even the best writers and teams need time and often just plain hard work to find the mix that works.
