Good news for feature writers?

Very ineresting article from The Tracking Board about how feature sales seem to be up this month, despite all the apocalyptic reports about studios being broke.

Great article! 34 original ideas were bought--that's excellent--so it IS possible to thrive in Hollywood in a down market.

Now, if only someone would interview the 34 to try to distill the magic ingredients of 'the successful pitch'! And also interview the execs who bought the ideas!

It's not as great as it sounds... these are by established writers --- I just went out with a spec so it's much more painful for first time writers...

Not to be a debbie downer...
