About Me

I'm Amanda - a former agency assistant, an east-coast expatriate and a good listener with a bad habit of interrupting people. I currently work as a professional script reader, blogger and tutor - while writing scripts on the side. My greatest weakness is free food. I have giant feet.

Lots of great blogs talk about the craft of writing or life as a professional. But how do you get an internship or assistant job? How do you make connections in Hollywood? What is a script reader? How do you get an agent or manager? Here are my tales from the trenches.

This blog used to be called Amanda the Aspiring Writer...but after a few years, I figured it was time to drop the "aspiring"!

I also offer a reduced-price script notes service. Click here for more info!
