But what makes the font so bad? While it's insane to use it in some documents (scripts, CVs, essays etc), it's perfect for other forms (comics). Cant say I ever use it though.
I think it's insanely pretentious to want to get rid of a typeface. I mean, sure it's obnoxious at times, but so are most of the fonts MS Word comes with. I just don't see what's so wrong about it that people must spend their time trying to get it banned, when there are far more important issues than its existance.
I never use it because I don't have a need to, but this is about as silly and pointless as trying to ban saggy pants. Sure it's unbecoming, lazy, and something you never want to have to look at, but is it really THAT important of a battle to fight?

Come on, I love Comic Sans. It says, "I want to be formal, but I'm here to party."

Times New Roman.
To be fair, nothing is worse than papyrus, not even comic sans.
i HATE comic sans ms.
Curlz takes the cake in my book. Papyrus is a close second.
If we're banning fonts, can we get rid of Times New Roman? There is just something about it that annoys the crap out of me.
