I'm sure most of you have heard by now, but
Marvel's starting a writing program. From a deal perspective, it sounds like it requires you to give up a lot of ownership for a small amount of money. But if that's the kind of stuff you want to write and you don't have a lot of other opportunities popping up, it's probably crazy not to apply...

Thanks for posting that. You don't happen to have any idea how you'd get on board with that do you?
Wow, thanks Amanda.
It's interesting that Marvel is trying to build a stable of writers.
That sounds a lot like the stables of actors studios used to build way back when. (God, to be the new-era, super-hero movie, writer version of Bette Davis!)
I heard the business model Hollywood's been using for the past few decades is pretty much falling apart, but I didn't think they'd fall back on the old studio system!
How would one go about applying to that? The article seemed to suggest that the writers would be picked from established screen writers or comic writers.
Rumor has it agents have been submitting their people for this for months, already. Maybe a CAA assistant could chime in on this?
